The Rahr West Art Museum is please to offer another session of After School Picassos. Our first session, which was held in February and March was very successful and we would like to invite your child to take part in this fun filled art class.
After School Picassos is for students in 1st thru 6th grade with a love of art. Students will explore art using different techniques such as drawing, painting and sculpting. Each art lesson is split into two levels based on grade. It is not a problem for your child to arrive a little late for class, because of their release time from school. Please feel free to contact Joe Metzen at the Rahr West Art Museum if you have any questions or concerns.
Supplies for this class are furnished.
A tax deductable donation of cash or art supplies to the Education Department is appreciated.
There are four separate Afternoons of the Arts on Feb. 27th, March 20th, April 9th and April 24th starting at 12:30 and ending at 3:30. Students in grades Kindergarten thru 12th are welcome to sign up for one or all of the afternoons.
Each afternoon will consist of four different classes, a theater class, a music class and two visual art classes.
The cost four each afternoon is $30 for non-members and $15 for members of the Rahr West Art Museum.
