Touring the Museum Exhibition Galleries

Courtyard Garden

Located just inside the museum entrance, the courtyard garden was established as a joint project of the Manitowoc Garden Club and Mrs. John D. West in 1975. Redesigned in 1991, the courtyard garden features a variety of the Wisconsin trees and shrubs, and a bronze wall sculpture by Italian artist Bruno Lucchesi.

Ruth West Gallery

As the museum's largest exhibition space, the Ruth West Gallery is the scene of approximately ten exhibitions each year. This large, flexible space is also used for lectures, recitals, and exhibition-related activities.

John West Gallery

Designed and built in 1986, this gallery provides additional space for rotating exhibitions and/or work from the museum's permanent collection of American Art.

Corridor Gallery

Exhibitions in the gallery space change approximately every 4-6 weeks, often relating to art shows in the Ruth West Gallery. Art from the museum's collection may also be featured in this gallery.
